“The natural healing force in each one of us is the greatest force in getting well”
What is Reiki and how does it work?
Reiki originated in Japan. It is a simple, gentle, energy technique that is used for pain management, stress reduction, deep relaxation, insomnia, help with side effects of cancer treatments and palliative care. The body has the ability to heal itself and to do so, complete relaxation is often beneficial.
The practitioner will be remotely sending Distance Reiki energy to you for the duration of your Reiki session(s) during this COVID period. This allows you the convenience of receiving Reiki in the safety, comfort and privacy of your home. Energy travels everywhere and we’re all connected to each other through it. Distance is not a barrier to the transmission of Reiki energy. A trained and attuned distance Reiki practitioner can transcend space and time to tie into the energy transmitted by your aura. It is possible to schedule a time for the Reiki practitioner to send you Reiki anytime day or night as Reiki can be sent for a specific time and place.
It is very important to prepare yourself before a distance Reiki session. Some people meditate. Some people practice deep breathing exercises or simply close their eyes while doing aromatherapy. Whatever works for you to clear and declutter your mind so you can be more receptive during your distance Reiki session will improve the benefits you receive from it.
