Double Blind Study Shows Reiki Works
Updated: Sep 20, 2021
Distance healing has a significant effect, and this has been shown in many research studies!
One such study, cited below, used a double-blind, randomized design (the best kind!) to study the effects of distance healing.
The study measured various outcomes between a control group of patients with AIDS, who received standard treatment, and a group that received standard treatment and distance healing.
Patients were randomly assigned to one of the two groups. They did not know if they received distance healing or not. (This removes the possibility of the Placebo effect.)
The results left no room for doubt about the effect of distance healing. Six months into the study, a chart review revealed that the group that received distance healing:
🔸had less AIDS-related illnesses
🔸required less visits to the doctor or hospital
🔸were in a better mood
This study, and the many others like it, give proof that distance healing techniques such as Reiki can have a meaningful impact on health.
